SAIM & DUNCAN PRODUCTIONS is an independent Film Production House based in Toronto. It was founded on October 30th 2012 by filmmakers, AKRETA SAIM and SONETTA DUNCAN. Saim and Duncan met at York University where they were both studying BFA's of Film Production. After winning First Place at the 2012 48 Hour Film Festival with their film "Nightmare of Terrors," the pair quickly began to work on new film projects (short films, film poetry, music videos, feature-length films, commercials, events, etc.)

AKRETA SAIM, Director/DOP/Editor

Attended the Asian Academy of Film and Television and York University for a BFA in Film Production. She worked with UTV Bindass in India and has been involved in different aspects of filmmaking for 5 years. She truly believes in the power of dreaming.

SONETTA (STEFF) DUNCAN, Screenwriter/Art Director/Casting Director/Actress
Attended Humber College for Film & Television Production and York University in a BFA of Film Production. She has been writing since the age of six and acting since the age of seven. Duncan had a poem published in Sarah Hoad's Shadow of Innocence: Book 4 and is a Submissions Editor for Existere Journal.
